Yoga isn’t about being flexible, it’s about finding opportunity in your body. Learn how yoga can improve your overall approach to health and wellness. This gentle class combines yoga poses, breath exercises and restorative techniques to help improve body awareness, build stamina, strength, and flexibility, and find calmness and relaxation. No prior yoga experience is required…this class truly is for everybody! (Ages 13 yrs and up)

Restorative Yoga: Sunday, 10/13 (12-1:30pm)

Our culture is built on how productive we can be, how much we can achieve and what we are planning to do next. Restorative yoga can help with balancing a fast paced, on-the-go lifestyle. Restorative yoga provides us with the opportunity to notice where we hold tension and anxiety in our bodies and it can teach us ways to utilize breathing techniques to stimulate our parasympathetic nervous system to “rest and restore”.

You can expect to be in restorative poses for intervals of 10-15 minutes to allow gravity to draw us towards the steadiness of the earth and reset our nervous systems. (Ages 11 yrs and up; teens and adults)
