May the force be with you as you learn Star Wars-themed mindfulness tools for managing thoughts and emotions. This is a one-hour workshop and each ticket includes entry for one kindergartener through 3rd grader and their caregiver. Additional tickets can be purchased for another child and/or caregiver.

Yoga isn’t about being flexible, it’s about finding opportunity in your body. Learn how yoga can improve your overall approach to health and wellness. This gentle class combines yoga poses, breath exercises and restorative techniques to help improve body awareness, build stamina, strength, and flexibility, and find calmness and relaxation. No prior yoga experience is required…this class truly is for everybody! (Ages 13 yrs and up)

Our prenatal yoga classes incorporate gentle yoga postures, mindful movement, and relaxation techniques. Learn yoga poses that help address the typical discomforts of pregnancy, build stability, and enjoy periods of deep relaxation.
These classes are appropriate for new beginners and also experienced yogis looking to learn specific skill sets to utilize during pregnancy. Students should be in their 2nd or 3rd trimester.

In this one-hour workshop, Laura will introduce your child athlete (middle and high school ages) to some basic mindfulness tools to use before, during and after their sporting events. Through the use of these tools, your child can enhance performance, manage and reduce stress, boost confidence and improve focus and concentration. Register your young athlete today to attend this valuable skill-building workshop!

RESTORATIVE YOGA: Sunday, 3/15/20 (12-1:30pm)

Our culture is built on how productive we can be, how much we can achieve and what we are planning to do next. Restorative yoga can help with balancing a fast paced, on-the-go lifestyle. Restorative yoga provides us with the opportunity to notice where we hold tension and anxiety in our bodies and it can teach us ways to utilize breathing techniques to stimulate our parasympathetic nervous system to “rest and restore”.

You can expect to be in restorative poses for intervals of 10-15 minutes to allow gravity to draw us towards the steadiness of the earth and reset our nervous systems. (Ages 11 yrs and up; teens and adults)

This class provides a great way for your child to unwind after a long school day. In a non-competitive and nurturing environment, your child will practice silly poses, play fun and challenging yoga style games, and explore concepts such as peace, respect, gratitude & acceptance. This class provides a fun filled way to cultivate self-esteem and body awareness.
