Join Laura for this fun and creative Harry Potter-based workshop geared toward children in grades 3-6. All activities, crafts and games will introduce essential mindfulness skills while following the Harry Potter theme. This workshop is for your child in grades 3-6 and one parent/guardian. Our prenatal yoga classes incorporate gentle yoga postures, mindful movement, and relaxation techniques. Learn yoga poses that help address the typical discomforts of pregnancy, build stability, and enjoy periods of deep relaxation.

These classes are appropriate for new beginners and also experienced yogis looking to learn specific skill sets to utilize during pregnancy. Students should be in their 2nd or 3rd trimester.

Join Laura for this 45-minute workshop to introduce your Pre-K through 2nd grader to the basics of mindful breathing through activities, crafts and books. We are never too young to learn mindfulness, as it encourages self-awareness, self-regulation and self-confidence. Cost for this workshop is $20 for your child and one parent/guardian and $10 for each additional family member who attends. This class sold out the last time it was offered, so register soon!

Restorative Yoga (Sunday 8/11/19 1-2:30 pm)

Our culture is built on how productive we can be, how much we can achieve and what we are planning to do next. Restorative yoga can help with balancing a fast paced, on-the-go lifestyle. Restorative yoga provides us with the opportunity to notice where we hold tension and anxiety in our bodies and it can teach us ways to utilize breathing techniques to stimulate our parasympathetic nervous system to “rest and restore”.

You can expect to be in restorative poses for intervals of 10-15 minutes to allow gravity to draw us towards the steadiness of the earth and reset our nervous systems. (Ages 11 yrs and up; teens and adults)

Join “CPR Mike” for basic life support training. Participants in this class will receive an American Heart Association BLS card, which is good for two years. This is a great class for new parents, parents-to-be, babysitters, grandparents and medical staff who need to update their training. Class size is limited. This class is for anyone 10 years of age and up.

This class provides a great way for your child to unwind after a long school day. In a non-competitive and nurturing environment, your child will practice silly poses, play fun and challenging yoga style games, and explore concepts such as peace, respect, gratitude & acceptance.
