Mom and Baby Yoga

Enjoy bonding with your baby in this 45 minute interactive beginner yoga class for moms, dads and/or caregivers and for babies (6 weeks to pre-crawling). Gentle yoga movement to increase flexibility and muscle tone, songs and baby massage are all part of this fun interactive class. Join to learn techniques to stay present, tap into your breathing and decrease the stress and anxiety of new parenthood. No prior yoga experience necessary.

Yoga for Kids (Grades 1 through 3)

This class provides a great way for your child to unwind after a long school day. In a non-competitive and nurturing environment, your child will practice silly poses, play fun and challenging yoga style games, and explore concepts such as peace, respect, gratitude & acceptance. This class provides a fun filled way to cultivate self-esteem and body awareness.

Our prenatal yoga classes incorporate gentle yoga postures, mindful movement, and relaxation techniques. Learn yoga poses that help address the typical discomforts of pregnancy, build stability, and enjoy periods of deep relaxation.
These classes are appropriate for new beginners and also experienced yogis looking to learn specific skill sets to utilize during pregnancy. Students should be in their 2nd or 3rd trimester.

Postnatal Rehab & Retrain Fitness
5:30 p.m. to 6:20 p.m.

This is not a “get your body back” class but a class focusing on safe postpartum exercises. Learn how to rehab your pelvic floor, retrain your deep core, and perform effective exercises for diastesis recti. Incontinence, pelvic floor dysfunctions, and diastasis are all common but this class can help. Even if you do not have any obvious symptoms all postpartum women can benefit from rehabbing and retraining their muscles and promoting healing. Bring your baby with you for a much deserved 50 minutes of self-care, support, and safe fitness.

Prenatal Fitness & Birth Preparation
6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Instructor: Julie Leonard
This unique prenatal fitness class with a holistic approach will help you gain strength and stamina with the use of weights, exercise balls and bands. Learn how to improve your pelvic floor and core strength to help prevent diastesis recti, master diaphragmatic breathing, and practice relaxation techniques.
The instructor will also use a method called “labor training” where you will do some high intensity interval training followed by short bouts of mental imagery.

Yoga for Improved Flexibility, Health and Wellbeing

Yoga isn’t about being flexible, it is about finding opportunity in your body. Learn how yoga can improve not only your flexibility but your overall approach to health and wellness. This class combines yoga poses and introduces breath techniques that will help build stamina, increase strength, improve balance and reduce back pain.
